Artificial Intelligence is transforming the study, preservation, and interpretation of cultural and artistic heritage. With the rapid expansion of digital archives and datasets, computational methods have become essential for analyzing, classifying, and enhancing a wide range of historical and artistic materials.
This special session aims to bring together researchers from computer vision, AI, and cultural and artistic heritage studies to foster multidisciplinary collaboration and showcase the latest advancements in AI-driven methodologies. We focus on machine learning techniques applied to textual, visual, and multimodal data to deepen our understanding of cultural artifacts, artworks, and historical records.
We invite contributions on AI innovations in cultural and artistic heritage analysis, including text recognition, image classification, restoration, and multimodal interpretation.

This special session is promoted by the IAPR Technical Committee 19 (Computer Vision for Cultural Heritage Applications).
Authors are invited to submit 6 pages full-length papers, including figures and references.
All accepted and presented papers will be published in and indexed by IEEE Xplore .
